Booker T. Washington rolls to All-City title

Booker T. Washington beat Memorial 34-7 in the championship game of the 72nd Annual Grady Skillern All-City Preview Friday night at LaFortune Stadium.  That capped a dominant two-day run for the Hornets.  On Thursday they blanked Nathan Hale 63-0 and then downed East Central 35-14.  Earlier Friday, Booker T. Washington shut out Will Rogers 38-0.

Friday football scrimmage recap

Several organized scrimmages with mini-games wrapped up the preseason for Oklahoma high school squads Friday night.
Among the results from around the state:

OKC All-City Preview: Douglass, one of the favorites in Class 3A, took care of John Marshall 21-0 in the championship game of the Oklahoma City All-City Preview. The matchup was a preview of what will later be a regular-season meeting between District 3A-2 foes.
In the semifinals, John Marshall knocked off Star-Spencer 14-0 behind a strong performance from freshman Devonte Lee. Douglass rolled past Centennial 22-6 in the other semifinal. Star-Spencer capped off a solid weekend by knocking off Centennial 16-8 in the third-place contest.
